    FAQ

    What is Octane Autofest?

Octane Autofest is a full weekend motorsports festival at Brainerd International Raceway. It includes drifting, road course, autocross, car show, camping, music, and CboysTV. You can attend as a spectator or participate on track.

    What ticket do I need?

    Start simple.

If you want to attend, watch, and experience the event, purchase a General Admission ticket.
If you are bringing a vehicle for the car show, you will need General Admission plus a Car Show Entry for each vehicle.
If you want to participate on track, you will need a Participant Pass for that specific activity.
If you are unsure, start with General Admission. You can upgrade later.

    Can I bring my car?

    Yes.

If you want to display your vehicle, register for the CboysTV Car Show.
If you want to drive on track, you must register for the appropriate driving activity.
    Spots are limited for both.

Can I just show up and drive?

No. Track access requires pre-registration and, in some cases, approval.

If you are new, start with autocross or skid pad drifting options. Both are fairly beginner-friendly and do not require a full-on purpose-built vehicle, although it helps.
Drift participation is open on the skid pad, but the All-Access Drifting Pass requires prior experience and approval.

    What is All-Access Drifting?

All-Access Drifting provides expanded drift access across designated areas of the facility.

Access is not automatic with purchase. Drivers must be pre-approved or certified.
If you are unsure, start with a lower-level drift option and upgrade after evaluation.

    How do I meet CboysTV?

Meet and Greet passes are limited and sold separately.

They are not included with General Admission.
You can join the waitlist at checkout with your General Admission passes to receive early access notice when Meet and Greet passes go on sale.

What is the CboysTV Car Show?

The CboysTV Car Show is a large-scale showcase featuring a wide range of vehicles, including imports, trucks, muscle cars, exotics, and custom builds.

Featured showcase spots will be available through an application process after registration.
    Space is limited.

    Is camping included?

Overnight camping for individuals is included with all multi-day tickets.

Rustic boondock camping is available in the BIR Zoo at no cost per sleeping unit. RVs and tents are welcome.
The Zoo is the infield of the road course and has been a core part of the BIR experience since the late 1960s, known for its high-energy, anything-goes camping atmosphere.
VIP campsites with hookups are reserved separately, must be booked ahead online, and are currently sold out for this event.

Can I leave and come back?

Yes. Multi-day wristbands allow re-entry throughout the event.

All wristbands must be worn for the duration of the event.
Lost or stolen wristbands or tickets will not be replaced.

    Are kids allowed?

Yes. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.

What if I buy the wrong ticket?

If you are unsure, start with General Admission. Staff can assist with upgrades or adjustments on-site.

    Are tickets limited?

    Some ticket types are limited.

Car Show entries, track participation, and Meet and Greet passes have capacity limits.
If you plan to participate, purchase early.

    First time at BIR?

Start with a General Admission ticket, show up, and the team will help guide you once you arrive.
